myTerms is an SSH terminal client that connects to remote servers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how your data is handled within the app.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

No personal information is collected
No usage analytics or telemetry
No crash reporting to external services
No advertising identifiers
No user accounts or registration required

3. Data Stored On-Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via your personal iCloud account:

Host configurations — server addresses, ports, usernames, and connection settings
SSH keys — private keys are stored in the iOS Keychain, protected by hardware encryption
Passwords — stored in the iOS Keychain with biometric protection if enabled
Command snippets — saved command shortcuts
Session logs — terminal output recordings (when enabled by you)
App preferences — theme, font size, and other settings

4. SSH Connections

myTerms establishes direct SSH connections between your device and your remote servers. These connections are encrypted end-to-end using standard SSH protocol encryption (AES, ChaCha20-Poly1305). No proxy or intermediary server is involved — your data travels directly from your device to your server.

5. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your host configurations and snippets are synced through your personal Apple iCloud account using CloudKit. This data is protected by Apple's iCloud encryption. We have no access to your iCloud data.

6. Keychain Security

SSH private keys and passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain, which provides hardware-level encryption. When biometric lock is enabled, access requires Face ID or Touch ID authentication. We cannot access your Keychain data.

7. Third-Party Services

myTerms does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app contains no third-party SDKs that collect data.

8. Children's Privacy

myTerms is a professional tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
